DataTalk’s Cantilever gates are designed for high usage, rapid travel situations where total reliability is essential. The design contains all operating forces within a supporting frame and an in-ground track is not required.
The gate may operate at constant speed using a fixed speed drive alternatively variable speed where soft start and stop enable more rapid travel between.
The variable speed is accomplished using a PLC and inverter frequency control. Safety devices to inhibit gate movement whilst an obstacle is present can include point to point light beam and inductive ground loops.
